The centre of digitization is the 3D scanner, a camera capable of taking one thousand images per second and the software that comes with it, which prepares a digital model of the teeth and the gum accurate to a hundredths of a millimeter based on the images.
The treatment and tooth movement plans (Clincheck), the bonding templates and aligners of removable and bonded orthodontic appliances as well as fixed appliances are prepared based on the digital model.

it is clearly visible that the traditional appliance is made of ready-made rings which only roughly fit on the teeth, while the digital appliance surrounds the teeth perfectly, it is custom-made, therefore it is more accurate, durable, hygienic.
Placing the fixed orthodontic appliance on is the most important step of the treatment, the final position of the teeth is determined by the accurate positioning of the buttons. If we make a mistake, we will definitely have to re-touch them later on. While during the traditional procedure doctors will put these on with great expertise and sure hands – yet still using their hands, by applying digital technology it is the computer that determines the placement of the buttons with perfect accuracy, eliminating the possibilities of human error. Thus, the treatment is faster since the initial mistakes don’t need to be corrected and the final result is nicer since doctors are only humans too and robots – for better or worse – are more precise.
