Pediatric orthodontics has become so widespread because while young people are still growing, plenty of problems can be rectified that either we won’t be able to or will only be able to get done with great difficulty after the growth period is over. It is especially important to start treating these abnormalities at a young age if one of the jaw bones is significantly smaller than the other or if the baby teeth fell out too early.
