THE BEGINNING OF OUR COLLABORATION
The first consultation with the Foxxi team isn’t going to be the usual quick meeting since orthodontics in most cases is an extended complex task, where a close cooperation between patient and doctor is what brings about a good result! Accordingly, we strive to getting to know the patients who come to us more closely, to analyze the problems and tasks, and to come up with recommended solutions at the end of our first appointment.
DATA COLLECTION
We will ask you to fill in the history sheet upon arrival. This document contains the most important basic questions, such as address, age, allergies, chronic illnesses, etc. Please make sure that your TAJ (social security) number and a photo ID are at hand because according to the Hungarian laws we are obliged to ask for these.
MEDICAL EXAMINATION
Following the data collection we escort our patients into the treatment room where the initial medical examination happens. During this we examine the teeth, the masticatory system and we pose the most important question as to what it is that we can help you with? We are not aiming at giving detailed answers at this stage, we will save the best for last!
DIGITAL TRANSCRIPT A.K.A. SCAN
Following the medical examination, where it is recommended, we initiate the orthodontic diagnostics. We apply the most modern digital technologies at our office, instead of the traditional dental impressions we capture the position of the teeth with a special dental scanner, capable of taking one thousand images per second. You can forget about the discomforts of taking traditional dental imprints, such as the unpleasant taste, nausea or retching.
DIAGNOSTICS
Following the scan, the face and mouth photos, panoramic and full X-rays essential for the evaluation are being taken. In case you are in possession of any X-rays no older than a year, we kindly ask you to bring them with you.
TREATMENT PLANNING
When we are done with all these, we escort you to the consultation room and we proceed with the detailed presenting and interpreting of the medical findings. Depending on the complexity of the task, we will try to offer several possible solutions. As to which alternative you may choose, that is going to be Your decision but we will strive to point out one of the options presented and to help the decision-making with professional arguments.
