Complete restoration of chewing function and aesthetics
Metal-free crowns, bridges and implant solutions with digital precision.
A missing tooth is not just an aesthetic flaw — tooth loss is often caused by advanced gum disease or neglected tooth decay. As a result of a missing tooth, chewing becomes difficult, the neighbouring teeth shift, and the bone begins to recede. At Foxxi Dental Clinic we work with the most advanced materials (zirconia, E-max pressed ceramic) so that your restoration is not only functionally perfect but virtually indistinguishable from natural teeth.
Metal-free ceramic fired onto an extremely strong, white zirconium dioxide framework. Perfectly biocompatible and durable, and the "grey line" at the gum edge known from metal-ceramic crowns never appears. Excellent for both back teeth and front teeth.
A framework-free, translucent premium restoration offering the highest level of aesthetics. The perfect choice for the lifelike restoration of front teeth (the smile zone).
A restoration fixed with screws or cement onto an artificial root (implant) that has already been placed — via an oral surgery procedure — and integrated into the bone. This is the most modern solution for replacing a missing tooth.
Zirconia is completely metal-free (it causes no allergies), its translucency makes it far more lifelike and natural-looking, and it never discolours the gum line grey over time.
The dental laboratory work usually takes 5-8 working days. During this time we naturally provide a temporary crown, so you won't have to hide your smile.
No. The procedure is always performed under thorough local anaesthesia, so it is completely pain-free. After preparation, the tooth may be sensitive once the anaesthetic wears off, but the temporary crown protects it from this.
With proper oral hygiene at home and regular six-monthly dental (and dental hygiene) check-ups, it can last 10-15 years or even much longer.
Crowns should be cleaned just like your own teeth. The area under the bridge body (the replaced tooth), however, must be kept clean with special, thicker dental floss ("Superfloss") or an interdental brush. We will show you exactly how simple this is when your restoration is fitted.
It is very rare. If the cement does loosen (for example after biting into something very hard), contact us immediately! If the restoration and the tooth underneath are intact, we simply re-cement it.
Yes. No matter how perfect the new restoration is, your tongue, lips and chewing muscles need a few weeks to fully adjust to the new shape.
If the teeth neighbouring the gap are completely intact and healthy, an implant is the better choice, as it avoids grinding down your own teeth. However, if the neighbouring teeth already have large fillings or need crowns anyway, an aesthetic zirconia bridge can be a quick and perfect solution.
Older metal alloys (e.g. those containing nickel) can cause metal allergies. The zirconia and E-max ceramic we use are 100% tissue-friendly, hypoallergenic materials, so they do not trigger any allergic reaction.
Nature abhors a vacuum. Over time, the neighbouring teeth tilt towards the gap, while the opposing tooth "grows out" of the bite plane (seeking contact). In addition, the unloaded bone begins to recede, which later makes the replacement more difficult or considerably more costly (e.g. bone grafting may be needed). It pays to act as soon as possible!
